Since our inception in 1991, we have continuously worked towards bridging the gap between manufacturers and end-users. Today, we are one of the largest suppliers of quality materials for interiors in Bangalore.

After nearly two decades of supplying materials to some of the biggest names in the market, we decided it was time to change the game. We launched Sarang and Novus in 2010 and 2018 respectively, with an aim to make luxury and premium quality interiors more accessible and affordable.

1991

Established by founder Shyam Sunder Sultania

In 1991, founder Shyam Sunder Sultania set out on a journey to establish Rohini Plylam become a pioneer in delivering quality products at the most affordable costs for all interior needs.

2006

Pioneered Bangalore’s one of the first veneer product ranges

We pioneered Bangalore’s first veneer product range under our brand ‘Novus’ that comes from all over the world, including Europe, US, and Africa. It features unique and exclusive flitche that provide a luxury look.

2010

Launched our cost-effective range Sarang

In 2010, we launched our most economically priced product range — Sarang. Equipped with the most advanced technology, the products are composed of selected hardwood species that are treated to prevent borer and termite attacks.

2011

Moved into our showroom in J. P. Nagar

We strive to bridge the industry gap between manufacturers and end-users, reinforcing trust every step of the way. In order to cater to our growing number of customers, we moved into our showroom in J. P. Nagar.

2014

Launched our premium range Sarang Ultra

After receiving considerable success with our brand ‘Sarang’, our team launched the most premium range of Rohini Plylam — Sarang Ultra. Backed by years of research and innovation, we developed one of the first 100% gurjan or equivalent timber plywoods available in the market that provide best-in-class quality, strength, and stability.

2018

Launched our premium range Novus

Our industry expertise advances innovation by leaps and bounds every year. With that technical know-how, we launched our premium range in 2018 — Novus. The products are composed of high quality timber that are treated with glue line poison technology to shield against borer and termite attacks.

2019

Launched premium quality imported ply

When it comes to premium plywood that features the ultimate quality and luxury beyond compare, Rohini Plylam has become a name in itself. We launched our premium quality ply imported from countries such as Indonesia.

2020

Succeeded by Vijay Kumar Sultania

In 2020, Rohini Plylam was succeeded by Vijay Kumar Sultania who scaled it to new heights. Currently, the company distributes more than 1500 sheets of plywood, laminates, and veneers daily.

We are all about growth and innovation. In lieu of our expansion plans, we are soon launching an additional warehouse space of 45,000 sq. ft at Jigani Industrial Area.
