Made with the finest plantation timber hand-picked from the forests across the globe, our plywoods are synonyms of versatile range and high quality. We select the best logs from selected trees that are sourced from legal and sustainable forest concessions.

De-barking
We use large blades to transform the raw wood into thin layers of veneer sheets. Our team constantly presses these layers, cuts them into pieces of standard size, and discards the leftover material.

Standard sizes are used & rest are discarded
We then expose our sheets to severe heat for hours, removing all amounts of water content using a dryer. This prevents the plywood from opening and improves the bonding strength by keeping it dry.

After drying the sheets, we glue them together using chemicals to ensure strength and durability of our products.

Our team arranges the glued core as per the manufacturing requirements for the sizes and thickness of the plywood.

Our team then compressed the glued core at the required temperature and pressure for excellent mechanical strength and durability.

In this step, we also conduct resizing and reshaping of our plywood as per demands.

We also pass the plywood through a sanding and calibration machine to avoid undulation on the ply surface.

Finally, we ensure a premium finish of our products by checking and solving for defects such as holes, pits, and unfinished edges. The ply is also branded and sent to the warehouse of Rohini Plylam.
